Joel


Joel is the twenty-ninth book of the Bible and calls God’s people to repentance in the face of disaster and coming judgment. Using a devastating locust plague as a warning, the prophet Joel urges the nation to return to the Lord with fasting and sincere hearts. The book also promises future restoration and the outpouring of God’s Spirit. Joel is a book of repentance, renewal, and hope in God’s saving power.
