Nahum is the thirty-fourth book of the Bible and proclaims God’s judgment against the city of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria. The prophet Nahum declares that God will bring justice against cruelty, oppression, and evil, showing that no nation can escape His authority. At the same time, the book offers comfort to God’s people, reminding them that the Lord is a refuge in times of trouble. Nahum is a book of justice, judgment, and divine protection.
